James Enck doesn't blog near enough these days, although it's perfectly understandable considering his new role at CFH and his collaboration with Diffraction Analysis. But when he does, it's as good as ever, witty and insightful.
A few months ago I blogged about the UK situation and the emergence of several initiatives in the FTTx space. James recently posted about these same initiatives with a slightly different – but very interesting – outlook on things. I love his Rainbow analogy, it somehow sounds right to me. I also think he's absolutely right in that the next thing that needs to happen (and not just in the UK) is for the financial community to realise that opportunity that FTTx represents and the funding gap that exists.
Way to go, James!
