DC’s Stupid Networking (aka Isenberg at the FCC)

David Isenberg announced on his blog late last week that he was joining the FCC for a short period until the National Broadband Plan is put in shape. If you don't know who David Isenberg is, you could do worse than to check out this article by TelecomTV which has an iffy title but generally seems to greet the news favourably.

This is indeed great news, not necessarily because David has long been an advocate for net neutrality, but also and perhaps more importantly because he's a sharp mind with a keen understanding of the technical issues underlying policy decisions, a key skillset to cut through the bull- of lobbyists and lawyers!
